Polypropylene pressure pipes
NewPlast - We Are Responsible For Your Well-being

     NewPlast Company offers you pressure pipes from polypropylene (PPR) intended for hot and cold water systems, snow-melting system installation, convectors, central heating installation, etc.

“Random Copolymer” polypropylene (PPRC) is a light and durable copolymer that belongs to the group of thermoplastics. It is chemically resistant against the majority of both acid and alkali dissolvents. Thermal universality of polypropylene is worth special attention: pipes made from it are exploited at the temperature range from – 100C up to + 900C. The pipes stand high temperature up to 1100C for a short period of time. Due to the material elasticity, water may remain in polypropylene pipes, without distracting it.

     Standards

     NewPlast PPR pressure pipes are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of DIN 8077, DIN 8078 and ISO R 52134-2003.

     NewPlast Company offers you pressure pipes from polypropylene of the following types:

·        SRD 11 pipes – for maximal working pressure up to 1.0 Mpa (10 bar) at 200C for cold water, with a blue marking line.

·        SRD 7,4 pipes – for maximal working pressure up to 1.6 Mpa (16 bar) at 200C for cold and hot water, with red marking line;

·        SRD 6 pipes – for maximal working pressure up to 2.0 Mpa (20 bar) at 200C for cold and hot water, with red marking line.

     Pressure pipes from polypropylene are characterized by:

          1.      Reliability: the pipeline system possesses absolute hermiticity of connections.

2.      Durability: service life of the pipelines is more than 50 years for cold water, and more that 25 years for hot water.

3.      Profitability: low cost of the system, delivery and exploitation expenses.

4.      Polypropylene pipes have got a good resistance against temperature and pressure drops. It is generated by the stabilizers inserted into the material structure. Even if there is some water left in PPR pipes, they will not be distracted, but will just slightly get bigger in sizes and when thy melt, they will return to their normal sizes.

5.      Wide assortment of connections and a range of diameters.

     Sphere of application of polypropylene pipes

     The pipeline system from polypropylene is an ideal choice in the following cases:

1.
Pipeline systems of cold and hot drinking water in houses and administrative buildings, hospitals, schools, etc., including house water supply stations, water distribution, water struts, distribution on floors (usual or with an individual connection on each point of selection), connecting the pipeline to already existing water-supply systems installed from metal pipes;

2.
Pipeline systems for exploitation of devices that make use of compressed air;

3.
Pipelines for agriculture;

4.
Heating systems: connection to the boiler, switching centers, stunts, distribution on floors, connecting metal radiators, warm floors.

5.
Industrial pipeline systems.

     Package

The pipes are produced in direct pieces from 4 to 6 m in coordination with the customer. The pipes are tied into packages fastening them in not less than two points so that the distance between the fastening points is from 2 to 2.5 m.

     Fittings

     PPR and PPR/AL/PEX pipe connection is carried out with the help of welding fittings.

     NewPlast polypropylene welding fittings are the safest and most reliable connecting fittings for water and other pipes. High quality of connection is one of the main advantages of these fittings. They allow establishing absolutely strong homogeneous connection. Welding process does not demand much time and consists of only three actions: cutting, heating, connecting. Thus, the connection can be exploited immediately after welding. The reliability of welding connections is the highest as compared with that of others, and with its durability it is close to the pipe itself. Variations of polypropylene fittings are so wide that they allow installing pipes even in case of very difficult architectural constructions.
