NewPlast Company produces PVC-U sewer-pipe drains made from thermoplastic polymer material of unplasticized polyvinylchloride. In pipe manufacturing it occupies the third place after polyethylene and polypropylene pipes.

NewPlast PVC-U sewer-pipe drains are of the following types:
- without flared end;
- with flared end with connection from elastic sealing ring (Pic. 1);
- when ordered, they are produces with flared end with gluing connection (Pic.2).

 NewPlast PVC-U sewer-pipe drains are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of ASTM F 891, ASTM D 2729, and ISO 3633-2002 standard on the basis of which ТУ 39057507.4928-2007 has been generated.

The main technical criterion of PVC-U pipe quality is their rigidity: NewPlast pipes are produced with rigidity of not less than 170MPa for sewer-pipe drains and 75 MPa for ventilation pipes.

         


3956 3972 NewPlast PVC-U sewer-pipe drain systems are used for open installation in the buildings and for water drainage, for installation in wall dappings and floor coverage, as well as for open installation with laying into the earth. PVC-U pipes withstand pressure up to 10 MPa, they are completely resistance against temperature drops from – 200C up to + 600C. The special technology of pipe production in the inner layer there is installed a super-smooth surface that prevents clogging. And the complete hermiticity of PVC-U pipelines excludes the possibility of not only wastewater exudation into the soil that would lead to environment pollution, but also penetration of underground water into the pipelines.

The positive properties of unplasticized pipes are as follows:
• Low level of Inflammability and high level of chemical resistance as compared to other polymers.
• Less sensitivity to ultraviolet radiation, therefore the basic spheres of the application of PVC-U sewer-pipe drains are water drain systems and drainage.
• High level of resistance – they do not crack.
• Self-extinction effect – in the composition of PVC-U pipes there are chloride atoms that retain the combustion process.
• Lower coefficient of linear thermal expansion as compared to other plastic pipes.
• Resistance practically to all substances containing in economic-faecal and industrial wastewater, as well as in the surrounding soil.

Three-layered PVC-U pipes produced by European technologies are becoming increasingly popular in the world. Their inside and outside layers are made from PVC-U and their intermediate layer is made from a special frothed polyvinylchloride.
Frothed PVC-U is a light thermoplastic material which is resistant against environment influences, weather conditions, aggressive environments, and corrosion. It also possesses the following features:
• This material does not absorb water and atmospheric moisture from the air, that excludes swelling and, as a conseqence, deformation and buckling of products during its exploitation period.
• Even direct long contact with water does not change the appearance and exploitation characteristics of the material.
• Frothed PVC-U is a perfect deadening and heat insulator: a noticeable reduction of noise level is observed during water drain.
• The presence of the intermediate later presses the pipe weight, preserving its resistance and exploitation characteristics.

Today pipes with frothed intermediate core designed for various spheres of application gradually leave out the traditional ones.
